Welcome to the Block Editor Fundamentals course. If you’re new to the block editor in WordPress and Company Cloud, you’re in the right place.
In this course, you’ll learn your way around the editor, getting you up to speed creating beautiful and effective pages on your website.
This course is divided into four different sections:
- Interface Basics. Here you’ll learn your way around the different components of the editor, and what they are for.
- Document Details. Learn how to control document-level data, such as publishing dates, visibility, hierarchy and more.
- Blocks. The foundation of your pages are blocks, which you combine to create layouts. Learn what blocks are and how to use them, as well as how to change their appearance.
- Case. The course finishes with a case, showing you how to build a landing page from scratch in the editor.
After taking this fundamentals course, you will feel at home in the editor and feel comfortable using it to create and update content.
